The latest research of IC Insights demonstrates that if chip price keeps flat or remain high, Samsung may become the hegemon of chip manufacturer.The report indicates that the key of sales strong growth of Samsung chip is the rising of DRAM and NAND flash memory price. IC Insights thought that the price rise of these two flash memories is still objective all year around, DRAM price will rise to 39 percent the whole year, NAND will rise to 25 percent. According to financial report, current operating profit of semiconductor department of Samsung reaches 6.31 trillion, which hit a record.  Samsung mentioned that with a continued strong performance of chip business, mobile phone business further improves achievement after GalaxyS8 and S8+ coming to market.     It is obvious that Samsung financial report indicates that chip in the second season still keeps higher selling price, limited by supply chain capacity. Tight supply situation also persists.
