The Construction of a Six Sigma Management System Looking back over the past 18 years, Six Sigma marks an important milestone in Kaifa's 35-year development process. In our continued work to ensure the effectiveness of the Six Sigma Methodology, we have established Green Belt and Black Belt advocates, lean specialists, a Six Sigma management tool training system, a Green Belt , Black Belt and lean specialist certification system, and the strategically focused Lean Six Sigma Project KCA Management System. At the same time, we have also guided management technicians to fully come to grip with the tools and methodology of Lean Six Sigma and to make Lean Six Sigma activities a daily occurrence. This in turn has formed a constantly improving company culture based around Lean Six Sigma, which continues to protect the company's core competitiveness within the industry chain. In 2019, we brought about more than 7000 varied improvement projects that yielded gigantic economic benefits. We have established a commendable talent education system to ensure that the Lean Six Sigma Methodology is effectively promoted throughout the company. We have received a total of 53 awards from China Association for Quality, including the “10th Anniversary National Six Sigma Management Promotion Outstanding Enterprise” award. In addition to this, we have also applied the Lean Six Sigma management methodology overseas. Our Malaysian factory submitted projects to participate in the QCC Publishing Competition and was awarded excellent project. Lean & Six Sigma Improving global industrial layout, driving forward smart manufacturing, consolidating EMS core capabilities, and creating value are our most important development directions. In order to achieve these goals, we have introduced lean production maturity assessment standards and established implementation methods for lean production maturity management assessment. We plan to further improve the level of Lean methodology practiced in our company through the following six steps: lean assessment, gap analysis, project planning, methodology training, improvement implementation and promotion and incentives. This path, supported by technology, systematically improves the comprehensive capabilities of manufacturing technology. We will effectively integrate Lean Production with Six Sigma management methods, and continue to review and summarize experiences and innovative practices. The innovation achievements of Lean Six Sigma have also been recognized by the industry. “Electronic Manufacturing Enterprises’ Maturity Assessments Drive Lean Production Management” won first prize in the 2019 State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense’s Enterprise Management Innovation Achievement Award, and second prize in the 26th National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement Award. In 2002, we attempted to move beyond traditional management tools with Six Sigma, and in 2020, it has become an irreplaceable cultural symbol. Over the past 18 years, our exploration of and reflection on Lean Six Sigma has never stopped, and we still continue to pursue it.
