Creation Is Endless, Kaifa ‘’Innovation Contest” Has Ended Successfully

Although Kaifa is expanding diversified business and products quickly into markets, managements of other subsidiaries are becoming more and more mature, there are few mutual communication opportunities due to different products and business modes between nine business units. Kaifa has held “Innovation contest” presenting creative ability, consciousness of individual business unit and team vigour for strengthening mutual learning, self-improvement, business interactions and propagating advanced knowledge and experiences in the mid of October, which was the mainspring of Kaifa “Creative Year” and the theme of 2015 Six Sigma day as well. The contest was divided into four sections: firstly, the teams choose and display greatest technically creative achievements as representatives of units respectively in a novel way. Secondly, the organizing committee observes their manifestation and knowledge base through releasing “How To Improve Efficiency, Administration Level” related alternatives in advance, the participants select from them and resolve the questions. Thirdly, the teams improvise within “Innovation contest” questions collected by subsidiaries, which are awarded bonus points. Lastly, audiences vote for their favorites, this adds to overall grades of the teams. Individual business unit has planned for the contest well from topics to making to exhibitions. All the team leaders are also managers or above researcher personnel, the participants are corresponding functional backbones. They poured a great deal of themselves to show their own business’ most brilliant innovative achievements. On contest day, some teams introduced their achievements in videos, some performed in the specifics, others focused on communication with the judges and audience. In the end, Computer and Storage Business Unit team (CSBU) won the first place, Automation and Equipment Business Unit (AEBU) and Communication and Consumer Electronics Business Unit (CCBU) ranked second and third respectively. Creation has been the main theme of Kaifa sustainable development along the “Innovation Contest”. Creation is endless and should be a continuous progress that every employee pursues, which infuses great vitality into the company development.
