Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science andTechnology has announced the proposed award projects for the 2024 SichuanProvincial Science and Technology Progress Award. The project "KeyTechnologies and Applications for Large-scale Efficient Detection and ServicePerformance Assurance of Smart Electric Energy Metering Equipment",jointly completed by Kaifa Technology, State Grid Sichuan Electric PowerCompany, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, has wonthe third prize of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology ProgressAward.

This project, in response to the problems of large scale, lowdetection efficiency and insufficient performance guarantee capacity of thesmart electricity metering system, develops key flexible detection equipmentfor the smart electricity metering system and builds an intelligent large-scalemetering detection system. It solves the key problems of low intelligence levelof the detection system operation and maintenance and lack of process statemonitoring of key equipment. The achievements have been applied and promoted in15 provincial power companies and 10 manufacturing enterprises across thecountry, with significant social and economic benefits, effectively promotingthe progress of the industry.
